Scholastic Art Awards Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum of Art

Congratulations to Taleb Hossain whose photographs received awards from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2003 - NYC Regional competition. The awards ceremony and exhibiton was held at the Brooklyn Museum of Art on March of 2003.
Latino Art Beat Competition Virna Baez was selected as one of the winners of this competition. Virna's photograph "Mi Madre"(Vision of Mom) will be exhibited at the Bronx Museum during the Autumn of 2003.P.S. ART Congratulations to Nadia Hussin whose photograph "Alexandria" was chosen for inclusion in the P.S. Art exhibition at the DFN Gallery in Tribeca, Manhattan during the month of May. This exhibition was reinstalled at The Center For Art Education in Manhattan in June. 
Brooklyn Bridge Photography Contest Congratulations to Robert Dabrowski who entered his photograph depicting the Brooklyn Bridge and has been selected as one of the youth winners of this contest. The contest was held in conjuction with the Brooklyn Bridge to the World Celebration that helped celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge.My Brooklyn-An exhibition of winners from the second annual photography and essay contest at The Brooklyn Public Library Amaku Ukpong was selected as one of the winners of this contest and her work was exhibited in the Grand Lobby of The Brooklyn Public Library at Grand Army Plaza. "My Brooklyn documents the physical and human dimensions of the borough and collects testimony as to how this space we share in common figures in the most private recesses of our imaginations." | ||||||||||||||||||||
